Sermon:

The Pilgrims Speak Today

Preached at: Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church
Date: April 23, 1989
The Pilgrims who founded Plymouth in 1620 cast a long and positive shadow on America. Blown off course in the voyage of the Mayflower, they wrote a prototype of the Constitution called the Mayflower Compact. They explained in that document why they came: “for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith.” The Pilgrims were seeking religious freedom and did all they could so they could practice the Gospel in peace.
